Hey guys! Today I have a swatch and review of a collection I picked up some time ago in the 7 mL size, most of these are still available and are absolutely gorgeous unique micro glitter polishes, so I’ll get right into the swatches!
First up is Theory Of Everything, it is described as “Blue micro glitter polish, with flashes of silver holo glitter.” This one has a gorgeous icy finish and the formula was nice and easy. 3 coats for full opacity.
Next up is Blinded Me With Science, it is described as “Sparkly holo silver glitter with an assortment of different colored micro glitter.” It comes of to me like a blackened lavender micro glitter and I am absolutely in love with it! 2 coats for full opacity.
Next up is Weird Science, it is described as “Gold holo micro glitter with pink micro glitter.” The pink glitters in this one give it a soft rose gold warmth, opaque in 3 coats.
This next one is Sounds of Science and it is another instant favorite, especially with St. Patrick’s Day coming up! It is described as “Teal holo micro glitter with green and aqua glitters. Depending on the light this polish will lean more green.” This one was completely opaque for me at 4 coats, and while the color payoff is absolutely worth it I will more than likely do a sponge application for this one next time. Even at 4 coats Sounds of Science didn’t get too thick, so that still is an option.
This next one, Science is Real, I couldn’t find in the shop any longer. It is a gorgeous and unique mix of reds and purple micro glitters. This one was a little on the harder side to get completely opaque and I did 4 coats here. It also got a little thick on me though I don’t think I gave enough dry time in between layers. I will definitely do a sponge application next time I wear this beauty!
So that rounds out my swatch and review of the Science is Beautiful Collection from Gothic Gala Lacquers! As with all micro glitters I would recommend using a peel off base to make removal a little easier. Are you planning on picking any of these up?
