Hi guys! Today I’m really excited to begin a new segment that I’ve been throwing around for a while. It seems that every new collection that comes out the question that is asked the most is “do they watermarble?” I’m thinking of doing a review weekly of how well the collections I review are at achieving this epitome of nail art! What do you think?
If you are interested in seeing my swatch and review of the Lite Brites Summer 2016 China Glaze collection head over here.
First I began with the cremes including Hot Flash, I’ll Pink To That, None Of Your Risky Business, Whip It Good, Lime After Lime, Let’s Jam, and I Got A Blue Attitude. They all spread fantastically as most China Glaze polishes do! I had plenty of time to make a pattern and had no problem creating a bullseye.

_
Next I used the shimmer polishes, including Bite Me, Lip Smackin Good, and What I Like About Blue. These spread well but they were a little bit harder to manipulate (but still manageable) and were a little less opaque.

_
I ended up choosing polishes from both the cremes and shimmers for this next design and it is by far my favorite! I picked all of my faves from the collection :Bite Me, Let’s Jam, What I like About Blue, and I Got A Blue Attitude. I started with a base of Zoya Purity and Sexy Cuticles around my nails.

I am beyond thrilled with how these turned out and I’m looking forward to working on my marbling skills. Thank you so much for reading and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Wow, so pretty! And what’s left on that cup is an art piece in itself, lol!

Lol thank you! I debate cleaning it up every time but it looks like one of those melting rainbow drip candles and I love it haha!

How did I miss your review on the Lite Brites? :-O heading over to read that now. I’m so glad you are enjoying this collection also. Now I’m even more curious to see if these stamp. Excellent and awesome post. I totally think you should do this as a regular feature and think it’s a very cool idea.

Great segment idea! I enjoy the look of water marbles but I don’t like figuring out if it works. So glad you’ve already done the work for me! Haha!
