Kerastase Shampoo and Conditioner

First up is this Kerastase Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo is described as a “high-foaming shampoo is designed specficially for ladies with long, fine hair. In the shower, it turns into a mousse-like lather thanks to an infusion of oxygen and pumps volume into even the wispiest of strands.” It retails for $40 full size but it is available on amazon here at a great price for 8 oz! The conditioner is described as a “Specially designed for long hair, it detangles knots, repairs damage, and glossifies each strand.” It retails for $42 but it is available on amazon here for a steal! I haven’t tested these out yet because I literally just dyed my hair but I am looking forward to using these, this is a super generous sample size!

Next up is this tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees in the shade Sweet Violet. It is described as being for “Whether adding just a hint of color to a post-gym look or swiping on the go, the soothing formula makes lips shine. Fragrance-free and 100% natural, this balm also packs a moisturizing punch with botanical waxes and shea butter.” This was a super sheer touch of color for a very natural moisturized look. It retails for $7 and is available here.

Next up a mini sample size of the Coastel Scents styleEYES palette in the shade socialEYES. These are described as “comes with beautiful, deep neutrals for everyday looks.” I don’t know where they are going where black eyeshadow is appropriate for every day wear but I am there! I found these to be a little on the chalky side although easy to blend, and the magnetic packaging is perfect! A full palette retails for $12 and is available here.

RMS Beauty The Ultimate Remover Makeup Wipe

The last item in my birchbox is the sample that I chose, the RMS Beauty The Ultimoate Remover makeup wipes. These are described as being an “all-natural makeup wipe” and I recieved 2 foil packets in my box. I used one wipe to remove full eye makeup on both eyes with no problem. It did leave my eyes pretty oily. These retail for $16 for a total of 20 wipes and are available here

The first thing in my bag is the Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eyeliner in the shade Jet. It is described as “Dramatically emphasize your eyes with Starlooks’ intensely-pigmented, mechanical kohl eye pencil! These ultra-soft liners glide across delicate lids and water-line without pulling or scratching. Try a smokey effect by blending outwards with a fluffy brush!” I found it to work perfectly as described, it is beautifully matte and longwearing while easy to blend out. I found that this worked great on my waterline but didn’t quite give me the control I need to do a cat eye. This retails for $16 in a pot here and you can save 15% with coupon code IPSY0416.

The next thing in my bag is the tarte cosmetics LipSurgence lip creme in the shade wonder. It is described as being a “super creamy formula is infused with their famous maracuja oil to leave lips feeling oh-so soft.” This was gorgeously pigmented for me and went on super easy and creamy, the shape made it really easy to define my cupid’s bow! These retail for $25 and are available here. Use coupon code IPSYAPR for 20% off.

Next up is this Dreamcatcher Tapered Highlighter Brush 522 from Luxie Beauty. It is described as ” When it comes to multitasking, this brush is boss! It contours, highlights, blends, and sets under-eye concealer.” I used this brush to blend in highlighter and it preformed well, I love the soft contour of the bristles and how lightweight this brush is and also that it is completely cruelty free. It retails for $32 and is available in full size here. Save 30% with coupon code IPSYDREAM.

Pur~lisse Blue Lotus Sheet Masks.

Lastly I got these two Pur~lisse Blue Lotus Sheet Masks. These are described as “Each individually wrapped sheet traps a powerful solution of Asian botanicals, seaweed, white tea and antioxidant rich Blue Lotus in your skin. The result? A plumper, more radiant complexion.” I used the Blue Lotus and White Tea mask. This was my very first sheet mask but I have used and trusted this brand before. At first I thought the mask felt super slimy, I unfolded it from the package and smoothed it on my face for an instant cooling sensation. I had no burning or irritation and removed it after 25 minutes. It did leave the surface of my skin a little bit tacky but very moisturized! These retail for around $8 per sheet here. Save 30% with coupon code IPSYLOTUS30!
