Mango-nese at 3 coats plus topcoat under artificial lighting.

First up is Mango-nese. Mango-nese is described as ” a light peach crelly base with a mix of multishaped and multisized yellow and peach glitters!” I applied 3 thin coats and had no problem with glitter dispersion or application! The base is on the sheerer end of a white crelly that gives these polishes a light clean feel. I loved this one with a matte topcoat!

Guava-nadium at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

Next up is Guava-nadium. Guava-nadium is described as “a light green crelly base with a mix of multishaped and multisized green and teal glitters!” I did three thing coats for this one as well, no problems with the formula and I love the combination of glitters! The green glitters leaned yellow for me.

Berry-llium at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

Next up is Berry-llium. Berry-llium is described as “a light yellow crelly base with a mix of multishaped and multisized blue glitters!” This one has a light easy formula, I did 3 coats here.

Plum-bumBottle
Plum-bum at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

Nxt up is Plum-bum. Plum-bum is described as “a light pink crelly base with a mix of multishaped and multisized purple and pink glitters!” This one had the most opaque formula for me at 3 coats and also displayed some cold thermal sensitive changes! This polish very easily when a pink/magenta shade towards my tips.

Iridium at 2 coats under artificial lighting.

Lastly I have Iridium. Iridium is described as ” a rainbow holographic polish with holographic glitters, microflakes and pigment ~ the whole shebang!” This one was completely opaque for me at 2 coats but was really close to being a 1 coater. This one does dry down a little bit textured and dull so you will want a topcoat.

So that rounds out my swatch and review of the FrUTaS collection from Doctor Lacquer, all in all I found these to be beautiful light crellies that are very spring appropriate! You will want a nice topcoat to level out and protect the glitters. Your coverage will depend on the number and thickness of coats you do. They make beautiful toppers as well!

  1. These are beautiful, but I wish it was a different brand. My only experience with Doctor Lacquer landed me with a full collection of badly separated polish that would not resuspend and several unanswered emails from the maker. Never again.
