Hey you guys, today I have a really exciting post! I’ll be sharing swatches of the upcoming Funny Fruit collection releasing on June 12th at 2 p.m. CST from Sassy Pants Polish! These were sent to me for review and will retail for $12 for a full size 15 mL bottle or $75 for the entire collection. 7.5 mL minis are also available at $6 a bottle or $40 for the collection and she offers free shipping over $50! I can tell Angie put a lot of love and thought in to this collection and I am going to jump right into the swatches this post will be picture heavy, all swatches are shown at 3 coats with topcoat.

First up is Cherry Poppin’ which is described as a cherry red jelly packed with red holographic hex glitter and a subtle blue shimmer. This one has a thickish formula that is pretty opaque at 2 coats really deepens up at 3 coats. This one will require a topcoat as it dries down textured around the glitters. I love all the shimmer in this polish, the larger red glitters didn’t appear to be holographic for me, they mostly just give off a red shine.

Next ups Nice Melons which is described as a coral linear holo with red gold micro flakes. This polish was originally a custom for Polish and Paws recent blogiversary giveaway, so here is another chance to pick up this stunner! This one was right on the edge of being opaque for me at 3 coats, I feel like it would have benefitted from a 4th. It is a lie soft classy color with what I would describe as a soft linear holo. I am absolutely loving the shimmer in this one as well!

Next up is Going Bananas which is described as a pearly yellow shimmer with holographic micro glitters and gold holo hex glitters. This one is a surprise favorite for me! Even with the pearly base it didn’t get brush strokey at all and had a really great formula with even coverage. This shade reminds me of Belle’s ballgown and I love all the dimension in this one polish! it did take 3 coats to be fully opaque for me.

Next up is Limey Bastard, described as a bright lime scattered holographic micro glitter. This one is suspended in a lime tinted jelly base and the micro glitters are very well ground. At 3 coats this one wasn’t quite opaque for me and may be better suited as a topper but the glitter in this one is s amazing!

Next is One Bad Apple, described as a sheer dark green jelly filled with UCC flakes and pale green medium hex matte glitters. This one also has some shimmer in it and was pretty well opaque for me on it’s own at 3 coats. The larger matte glitters are a little more sparse in this one but still easy to get on the nail. Angie also said that this one is an amazing topper over black and I think that that is how I prefer this polish! Check the macro out at the end of this shades lineup:

Next up is Blue(berry) Balls and this is another favorite of mine and not just for the name! This one is described as a royal blue shimmery linear and scattered holographic polish jam packed with holographic micro glitters and blue hex glitters in various sizes. This polish has a lot going on in it and I love it! At 2 coats had nice even coverage but a 3rd coat really deepens up the color and depth in this one.

Lastly is the polish that started it all, Plum Crazy! Plum Crazy was originally part of the May A Mini Indied Box and there was such a great demand for this sparkly number at Angie decided to offer it in her shop. But she didn’t stop there and developed an entire collection to go with it. Plum Crazy is described as a plum holographic micro glitter jelly based with violet and magenta holo glitters. This one was completely opaque for me at 3 coats and the sparkle is just insane with this polish!

So that wraps up my swatch and review of this funny collection, don’t forget to stop by Sassy Pants Polish’s storefront here and also her Facebook fan group here to stay abreast of all her updates and new releases! Which is your favorite from this collection?
