Today I have a swatch and review of the upcoming Substance Abuse Awareness collaboration box organized by Mandy Wynder @mandyluvslacquer. This is the second box and I was sent these to review by Jennalyn of Lyn B Designs in exchange for swatch and review. This box is available for preorder from July 29th – August 10th on http://www.llarowe.com and will retail for $45 plus shipping. $25 from each box purchased will be donated to http://thpprojectpurple.org! This is a collaboration between Lyn B Designs, Pink Hibiscus Beauty, Ever After Polish, and Colors By Llarowe and I will jump right into the swatches!

First up is Revived Spirit by Lyn B Designs! This polish is a gorgeous denim blue linear holo with blue flakes and possibly some gold shimmer. Revived Spirit was an easy 2 coater for me with no staining issues at all.

Next up is A New day from a new to me brand, Pink Hibiscus Beauty! A New Day is a dusky plum toned purple polish filled with linear holo glitter and multi chrome flakes. This was another easy 2 coat formula for me that started out pretty sheer but builds up nicely.

Next up is Courageous by Ever After Polish. Courageous is a stunning bright blue based cherry red with a strong linear holographic glitter throughout as well as silver flakes. This one is full coverage in 1 coat but a second coat does deepen the color ever so slightly.

The last polish I have to share with you today is One Day At A Time by Colors by Llarowe. This polish is a gorgeous shifty multi chrome polish that shifts from a deep burgundy to a gold/orange/green shade and is filled with shredded silver holographic shard glitter. This one started out a little bit sheer but is beautiful opaque in 2 coats!

Thigh Gap anti chaff in passionfruit & nectarine.

The extra product for this month is Thigh Gap from Ever After Polish, and anti-chaffing product. The scent reminds me so much of those peach o ring candies and I am totally in love! The first ingredient in this product is corn starch so that should tell you a little bit about the texture. Thigh Gap has a very thin formula that glides on super smooth and silky. It does absorb into the skin after a bit and offers great protection against friction or what is known as “chub rub.” I have tested it while going on our daily Pokemon Go walk and I have to tell you, it made  huge difference! My body is slowly trying to turn itself into a mermaid but this product made for a much more comfy time. I also like that it contains vitamin E! At first I didn’t know how well Thigh gap fit into the theme of this box but after I thought about it for a while I realized that being physically active can go a long way in helping during addiction recovery time. I love this product so much I looked into purchasing more on Ever After Polish’s storefront but didn’t see any so if you are interested you may want to snag this box up! Plus it’s all for a good cause.

I know firsthand how devastating addiction and substance abuse can be on a person and the toll it can take on a family, but remember – there is always hope! Addiction and substance abuse problems know no bounds and can affect anyone no matter your race, creed, or financial stand point. Those with addictions should be treated with compassion and empathy, if you or someone you know is suffering please visit recovery.org for many links to help on the path to recovery or reach out for help! So much love to you all!

So that wraps up my swatch and review of the Substance Abuse Awareness box, if you are interested in entering to win a box head over to the Facebook group and request to join! A big huge thank you to all the makers who collaborated on this box, I hope you will take the time to check them out! Stay tuned tomorrow for this week’s But Do They Watermarble and thanks so much for reading along!
