Hey y’all! Today I have a really quick nail art look featuring Enola Gay from Parrot Polish! This polish is from their magnetic line and was sent to me for review and I have to say, it is so much better than I even expected! Enola Gay is described as “A beautiful deep golden magnetic polish with a holo touch.” I used a bar of circular magnets and attempted to do a DIY cat eye pattern. I wasn’t around during the initial “magnetic polish” fad so I will definitely be investing in some magnets meant specifically for  nail art for sure! I’ll go ahead and walk you through how I achieved this look:

Enola Gay is perfectly and completely opaque in just one coat, it was very easy to work with and I had a blast manipulating it with magnets! It does dry down fairly dull so I recommend a good topcoat (I’m using Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard here) to keep things nice and glossy! Enola Gay also has a nice quick dry time.

Next I did some light and easy stamping using Tux Polish Onyx (coming soon) and Moyra stamping plate 03 – ornaments. Enola Gay is an amazing stamping polish over lighter or darker colors! It will dry fairly quickly so you won’t be able to pull any of the pigment with a magnet when stamping. My ring nail is Enola Gay stamped over Onyx and my middle nail is Onyx stamped over Enola Gay. I topped everything off with Fast & Hard once more and this is the finished result:

  1. China Glaze put out some really cool magnets. They are magnet shaped plastic with 3 different magnets on each one. I think you can still find them on Amazon!

I really love this color and the look you created!
