Hey y’all! Today I am beyond honored to share my swatches of the upcoming Rainbow Balloon Festival trio releasing on October 1st from Spell Polish! This trio is in honor of Albuquerque’s hot air balloon festival, the largest in the world, which begins this year on October 1st. The Rainbow Balloon Festival trio is limited edition and will retail for $29.50. These were sent to me for review and I cannot wait to share some nail art I did using these, for now I’ll jump into the swatches.

First up is Floating On Clouds, a dainty flaky filled sheer polish with silver, matte white, and holographic components throughout. This polish feels very bridal to me and was right on the edge of being opaque for me at 3 coats. The silver shimmer is very strong here and Floating On Clouds also makes for a beautiful topper!

Next up is When Skies Are Grey, a beautiful grey crelly polish with an intense green shimmer and pink, teal, and holographic glitters throughout. This polish does a beautiful job at balancing being translucent enough for the glitters to shine through and opaque enough for full coverage! Opaque at just 2 coats for me, this is a stunning combination!

Lastly today I have Rainbow Balloon, a topper filled with a rainbow of circle, diamond, and star pearlescent glitters. The base in this polish is fairly heavy to help keep the glitters suspended but I needed to turn my bottle upside down a bit to get a good mix of glitters! With one swipe and some manipulation I did get a good amount of coverage but I opted to do some placement using a makeup sponge to absorb the excess base.

  1. Now I’m not usually one for a glitter topper, however seeing Rainbow Balloon on you, I do like this one, like a disco on your nails. Fab swatches x
