Hey guys! I have been so excited to share these with you, if you are a Studio Ghibli fan you’ll know exactly how giddy I am about this look! Soot Sprites show up in a few of the Studio Ghibli films, my favorite is Spirited Away when Chihiro/Sin feeds them the little star shaped sprinkles.

I began with a base of one coat of Tux Polish‘s Onyx on my index and pinky nails and one coat of Pure on my middle and ring nail. I then did one coat of Spell Polish‘s Rainbow Balloon across all nails with some glitter placement before adding a nice thick layer of topcoat.

Once more at an angle.

I then used a dotting tool and black acrylic paint to make bodies for each of the sprites before going in with a small detail brush and feathering out their shapes with more acrylic paint. I added little legs and arms in there as well, and used a smaller dotting tool and white acrylic paint to make the eyes. I then went in with an even smaller dotting tool to five them pupils and eye shine before top coating once more and finally matting them.
