Hey y’all! Today I have 3 gorgeous vibrant linear holographic polishes to share with you from Lilypad Lacquer! These aren’t a part of any particular collection but they were all sent to me for review. I also have a really quick Halloween nail art look to share with you after the swatches.

First up is Galliano, described as a “Bright yellow holo.” Galliano is a very bright golden yellow with a strong linear holo effect but it is on the sheer side. At 4 coats it wasn’t quite opaque for me so I would recommend using a white base coat. This color is absolutely gorgeous and worth the effort!

Next up is Close Encounter, described as a “red based purple holo.” This polish is stunning and super pigmented, opaque in just 2 easy coats! Once I added a topcoat however it almost seems like the purple pigment bled into the topcoat and made a little bit of a duller holo effect. It is still a gorgeous polish and comes to life in natural lighting.

Lastly today I have Nightingale, described as a “black holo with golden hue.” This polish has a great formula that was easily opaque for me in two coats! Nightingale is a gorgeous deep inky black polish with a linear holo effect that really stuns in natural lighting.

Completed Halloween gradient.

Next I have a really quick nail art look featuring the three polishes! I tried doing a gradient over a white base but these polishes just wouldn’t get opaque for me, even after about 5 passes! So I ended up using the polish brush to do almost a dry gradient starting with the black and working up towards the cuticle. I really like how rugged the final look is! I then used a small detail brush and black acrylic paint to make some birds or bats flowing towards the pinky nail. I then topped everything off with topcoat!
