Swatches | The Mythical Women Trio by Tux Polish

Hey y’all! Today I have a full swatch, stamp, and review of the upcoming Mythical Women Trio releasing on October 14th at 9:00 AM EST! First up is Medusa, described as a “deep green holo with lots of flakies and some shimmer.” Medusa has a formula that is a little on the thicker side and has amazing coverage at just one coat! I did do 2 full coats for all of my swatches today. Medusa is also super opaque and pigmented when used to stamp over both lighter and darker colors! I think this dark forest green is going to be amazing for the upcoming holiday season as well.

Next up is Athena, described as a “silvery blue holo with subtle pink and gold shimmer.” Athena is another polish a little on the thicker side but has amazing coverage at just one easy coat! I have done two swatches for all of my photos today. The shimmer in Athena can get a tiny bit brushstrokey but it isn’t super noticeable. Athena is also another great stamper over both lighter and darker colors.

Lastly today I have Aphrodite, described as a “pink or purplish pink holo with shimmer.” my camera picked up a lot of the light lavender tones in this polish but it will definitely shift depending on the type of lighting you are under! Aphrodite is an incredibly easy 1 coater with a great formula that stamps well over both lighter and darker colors.

Lastly I have a super quick and easy multicolored stamping look that really shows off how clearly and delicately these polishes stamp over black! For my base today I used my favorite black creme, Onyx! I found these shades to be perfect for some peacock feather nails using hehe plate 035. I dabbed a bit of Aphrodite to the very center, then surrounded that with Athena before filling in the rest of the space with Medusa. I scraped firmly and at a low angle before rolling upwards with my clear stamper and transferred the images to my middle and ring nail. I then topped everything off with Fast & Hard quick dry topcoat by Vibrant Vinyls. This is the final result:
