Hey y’all! Today I have a full swatch and review of the Witchcraft & Wizardry collection releasing October 14th at 10 P.M. MST from Night Owl Lacquer. This entire collection will retail for $50 and free shipping or for $9 a piece and these were sent to me for review. The Witchcraft & Wizardry collection is inspired by the world of Harry Potter and I’m so excited to share them with you!

First up is “What’s Fluffy Guarding?” which is described as a “a deep red polish with copper holo micro glitters & red micro flakies” inspired by the sorcerer’s (or philosopher’s) stone. This is a gorgeous almost brick red jelly base full of holographic and red micro glitters! As it is a jelly base it does take a few coats to build up to full opacity but the final color is just squishy gorgeousness!

Next up is Forbidden Forest, described as a “dark shimmery green polish with copper & gold holo micro glitters and gold holo shreds” inspired by the Forbidden Forest and the magical things within it. This polish starts out a little sheer but builds up beautifully in 2 coats! It reminds me so much of a twinkling Christmas tree and I know I will get a lot of use out of this shade as it gets closer to the holiday season!

Next up is Always, described as a “a black jelly polish packed with violet & iridescent rainbow flakies” inspired by Professor Snape. This polish started out a little streaky but built up fabulously in 3 coats! Another option with Always is to use it as a topper over black, the amount of flakies in this polish is amazing like that!

Next I have A.P.W.B.D. described as a “medium grey polish with lots of blue shimmer & blue micro flakies” inspired by the one and only Albus Percival Sulfuric Brian Dumbledore! This polish has amazing coverage at 2 coats but I’ve done 3 coats for my swatches today. At first glance this looks like a super pretty grey polish but once you get a flash of that blue shimmer it makes this so special! it reminds me so much of ethereal, smokey patronuses! (Petroni?)

Next up is my number one top pick of this collection, Snowy Owl! Snowy Owl is described as a “white polish with lots of gold shimmer, gold micro flakies and midnight flakies” inspired by Hedwig! This is, in my opinion, a perfect representation of Harry’s owl companion and it is a gorgeous combination on the nail. Completely opaque in just 2 easy coats!

Lastly today I have Goblin’s Love Gold, described as a “bright shimmery gold polish with gold holo shreds & lots of gold holo glitters of various sizes” inspired by Gringotts! This is such a fun and flashy polish, at 3 coats it was just on the edge of being opaque for me but I love everything going on it it! I think this would be a beautiful topper over a gold or black polish as well.

So that wraps up my swatch and review, I think Lindsay did a fabulous job at representing the Harry Potter world! Follow all of Night Owl Lacquer’s social media below to stay up to date on all future sales and releases:
