Hey y’all! Today I have both of the polish exclusives from the 2016 Polish Con in Chicago by Tonic Polish! These are very limited edition and will be going away at the end of the month of October so if you are interested in these do not hesitate! I did purchase these with my own money and I also have a really quick nail art look to share with you after the swatches.

First up is my favorite, Polish Con Or Bust 2016 which is described as a “a raspberry jelly base with glowing royal blue multi chrome shimmer that shifts to vivid orangey-red at an angle and holo micro glitters.” The red shift on this is intense and amazing, it totally looks like it has a red spotlight on it at angles. It has the perfect amount of holo in it as well, lots of depth and super easy formula. Polish Con or Bust had perfect coverage for me at 2 coats and retails at $13.

The other Polish Con exclusive is Windy City, described as a “medium royal blue base with intense pink shimmer, pink/gold/green shifting flakes, and silver holo micro glitters.” Windy City has a shimmer that translates well to the nail and when paired with those multi chrome and holo glitter makes for a delicately ethereal look. This gorgeous polish had full coverage for me at 2 coats and will retail for $12.

Finished smooshy mani under artificial lighting.

For this super easy smoothy mani look I used a base of one coat of Zoya’s Tara before adding random drops of both Windy City and polish Con or Bust 2016 to a saucer and smoothing them together using my clear stamper. I then transferred the smooth to my nail, cleaned up with acetone and a clean up brush, and finished off with Fast & hard quick dry topcoat by Vibrant Vinyls! I had plans to stamp something spooky over these but really loved the galaxy look they gave off.
