Hey y’all! Today I have the “You’ve Been Gilmore” collection releasing October 28th from LynB Designs! This is a 12 piece collection filled with flakies, holo, and shimmer inspired by The Gilmore Girls and you can save 50% off your order by using coupon code GILMORE. This collection was sent to me for review and this post will be picture heavy! Almost all of my swatches today are shown at 3 coats with LynB Designs quick dry topcoat.

First up is Pale is The New Tan, described as a “pale tan with tonal and holo shimmer” and will retail at $8 before discount. This polish has a thicker crelly type base filled with iridescent glitters, flakies, and shimmer and looks stunning in natural lighting. It does have some yellow undertones in the nude base that is going to be flattering on so many skin tones.

Next up is In Omnia Paratus, described as a “pale yellow crelly base with subtle shift from blue to green to gold” and will retail at $8 before discounts. This buttery yellow based polish has a thicker crelly base filled with tons of tiny micro iridescent flakies.

Next up is Am I Crying Or Laughing? which is described as a “margarita green base with gold and silver holo glitters, subtle gold shimmer, and green glass fleck” and will retail at $8 before discounts. This is such a funky mix that I’m really digging in natural lighting! The larger glitters did most definitely make this one dry down textured so you’ll want a nice topcoat to smooth everything down.

Next up is You’re A Taylor Tease, described as a “muted grey crelly base with holo shimmer, green glass flecks, pink fantasy flakies, and brown micro glitter” and will retail at $8 before discounts. Another thicker crelly base, this one is completely opaque at 3 coats!

Next up is SS Lurk, described as a “dusty blue crelly base with silver glitter, golden glass fleck, gold holo micro glitter, and a hint of copper shimmer” and will retail at $8 before discounts. This is one of my top picks! I just love the combination of those iridescent flakies, and blue grey base, and the subtle gold shimmer. Opaque at 3 coats!

Next up is Paris Needs No Embellishments, described as a “dusty purple crelly with purple glass fleck and blue to purple shifting shimmer” and will retail at $8 before discounts. This was another really easy 3 coat formula!

_

Next up is I Don’t Like Mondays, described as a “teal linear holo with hint of purple shimmer” and will retail at $10 before discounts. At 3 coats this polish wasn’t quite opaque for me but it does have a super strong linear holo effect and the shimmer really translates well to the nail too! I think this is going to be an awesome polish for lead lighting!

Next up is another one of my top picks, I Have No Time For Jam Hands! This one is described as a “jammy purple jelly base loaded with gold glass fleck aqua and lavender holo glitters and silver holo micro shreds” and will retail for $8 before discounts. this polish had great coverage at 2 coats but was completely opaque for me in 3 coats.

Next up is Oy With The Poodles Already, described as a “pink toned purple jelly holo” and will retail at $10 before discounts. So this polish is a lot like I Don’t Like Mondays in terms of formula, it has a super pretty orchid type jelly base that is just shy of being opaque for me in 3 coats. I think this is going to be another stunner when used for leadlighting! Oy With The Poodles Already gave me a super squishy Lisa Frank type jive!

_

Next up is Vicious Trollop, another top pick of mine! This is described as a “browny red crelly, with a hint of shimmer” and will retail at $8 before discounts. Vicious Trollop had full coverage in 3 coats and I absolutely love how unique and warm this combination is! The red micro glitter really drew me in, plus the name is ridiculously cute.

Next up is Coffee Coffee Coffee, described as a “coffee brown base loaded with linear holo, brown and copper micro glitter” and will retail for $10 before discounts. This micro glitter polish was opaque for me in 3 coats and looks stunning in natural lighting!

Lastly today I have Bring A Book To Sniff, described as a “red flakie base with brown micro and burgundy hexagonal glitters” and will retail for $8 before discounts. this polish is loaded with those orangey red flakes, such a super cool and unique look!
