totalrecall

Hey y’all! Today I am over-the-moon excited to share my swatches of the Total Recall collection, releasing from Femme Fatale Cosmetics for preorder starting November 23rd on the Femme Fatale website and starting November 22nd from the U.S. warehouse! They will also be restocking some amazing shades so now is a great time to order. These were sent to me for review and I will jump right into the swatches!

First up is 2084, described as a “stunning soft grey with a hint of mauve and red overlay.” This is such an incredibly classy color! The formula is a little on the thicker side and was completely opaque for me in 2 coats. It did a great job at leveling out all on it’s own and dried down fairly glossy. I think this shade is going to flatter so many skin tones and the shimmer just translates beautifully to the nail.

Next up is Ready For Dreamland, described as a “pale cool-toned lavender with a hint of grey, fine silver flecks and pink sparks.” This is a light greyed out purple tone with a ton of the small flaky shimmer running throughout! The first coats was a little sheer but covered nice and evenly and was completely opaque for me with a thicker second coat.

Next up is The Last Resort, described as a “berry satin with slight duochrome finish, flecks of holo and micro glitters.” The Last Resort has a phenomenal formula that is easily opaque in two coats! It has a super strong linear holographic effect and the duo chrome goes from a metallic lighter purple, to a deeper purple, with small flashes of orange/gold just at the edges.

Next up is one of my favorites, Venusville! Venusville is described as a “clear to pink thermal (warm to cold) with blue shimmers and silver holo micro glitters.” This was such a fun thermal to play with and definitely shifted really easily for me. I love Venusville in it’s warm state, it has a super strong blue shimmer that really helps it to be opaque in addition to all of the lovely glitters. In it’s warm state it is a gorgeous warm pink with that same strong blue shimmer. The amount of shift that this polish will show will definitely depend on both your nail length on your body temperature.

Next up is my number one top pick, Clever Girl! Clever Girl is described as a “clear to magenta thermal (warm to cold) with golden glitters and holo.” This is such a warm glowing polish in both it’s cold (red) and warm (clearish gold) and I do recommend 3 coats to bring this polish completely opaque. The shift on this is super intense and the large gold iridescent glitters shimmer both ways!

Next up is Welcome To Mars, described as a “shimmering warm duochrome base with golden glitters (holo) and chrome flakes.” Welcome To Mars has a really nice 2 coat formula and the shift in this duo chrome is out of this world! It shifts from a deep magenta to a bright orange gold along with the scattered ultra chrome flakes.

Lastly today I have The Ego Trip, described as a “shimmering pink base filled with chrome flakes and golden holo glitters.” The Ego Trip has a bit of a clear jelly base jam packed with a ton of pink to green shifting shimmer and ultra chrome flakies. I’ve done 3 coats here to bring it completely opaque for me but this polish also looks absolutely amazing as a topper over black!
