Hey guys! Today I have the Anniversary Trio from Colores de Carol that is available right now in celebration of her 4 year anniversary! These 3 polishes are loaded with linear holographic glitter as well as some shifty iridescent glitter and they were sent to me for review.
First up is Golden Jubilee which is described as an “orangey/yellowish gold linear holographic with iridescent color-shift (red/gold/green) glitter.” This polish was just shy of being opaque for me at 2 coats so my swatches all show three, the formula is super smooth and easy to apply! The linear holographic effect here has a super strong flame and the little bursts of shifty glitter are such a fun addition!
Next up is Argon Festival which is described as a “bright blue linear holographic with iridescent color-shift (red/gold/green) glitter.” Argon Festival built up beautifully for me in 3 coats and has an icy metallic flair to it that lends it a gorgeous icy finish alongside the linear holographic glitter!
Lastly I have my top pick of this trio, Xenon Jamboree! Xenon Jamboree is described as a “grape purple linear holographic with iridescent color-shift (red/gold/green) glitter.” I think the color shifting glitter shows up the best against this deeper purple base, it screams “Lisa Frank” for me, all rainbows and glittery goodness! It was completely opaque for me in 2 coats but a third coat does deepen up the color a bit.
So that wraps up today’s swatch and review, I do have an additional color to review soon from Colores de Carol. Until then be sure to follow Caroline at all of her social media platforms to stay up to date on all future releases and sales:
