Hey y’all! Today I have a swatch and review of the “Middle Of Winter” collection releasing this Saturday February 25th from Tux Polish! This collection consists of 3 paint and stamp cremes that will retail for $9.50 each and 3 holographic polishes that will retail for $10. These polishes were sent to me for review and I have a quick nail art look following the swatches!

First up is one of the gorgeous holo finish polishes, Orange You Ready For Spring? which is described as a “coral-y holo with lots of orange glitter, larger orange holo glitter, and some blue flakies.”It is shown here at 2 easy coats, this polish has amazing coverage and could possibly be a one coater depending on application.

Next up is the first of the creme polishes, Ear Muffs and Mittens. This polish is my number 1 top pick and is described as a “mauve creme” with hints of gold shimmer. Ear Muffs and Mittens has a seriously opaque and easy to use formula, I only need 1 coat for full opacity! You would never be able to tell from application but this polish dries down deliciously matte!

Next up is another one of the creme finish polishes, Spring Green Dreams! This polish is described as an “olive-y spring green creme” and had a nice and easy 1 coat formula. Spring Green Dreams did self level a little more slowly than Ear Muffs and Mittens did but it was still really easy to use!

Next is Winter Skies, the last of the creme polishes and another of my top picks! Winter Skies is descried as a “grey creme with a little bit of scattered holo throughout.” This is a very deep and vampy grey that retains some of that subtle sparkle even in it’s matte state! It does have a bit of a thicker formula but still really easy to apply and opaque in just 1 coat.

Next is Ice Violet which is described as a “blueish-violet holo full of holographic flakies, larger purple glitter, and purple holo glitter.” This polish has a beautiful almost jelly base filled with all of those holographic glitters that built up perfectly for me in 2 coats! It does dry down demi matte but a good topcoat smooths the finish right out and accentuates all of that lovely glitter.

Lastly today I have the collection’s namesake, Middle Of Winter, which is described as a “deep berry holo/jelly holo with pink micro glitter and flakies.” This polish is another of my top picks, I love the warmth that the pink flakes add to the finish and all of that holo in the sun is just incredible! I had nice coverage at 1 coat and full opacity at 2.
