Hey guys! Today I have a swatch and review of the upcoming May Monthly Awareness Polish Box in honor of stroke awareness. 10% of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the National Stroke Association, the entire box will retail for $52 plus shipping or each polish is available individually for $11 plus shipping. I did purchase this box with a blogger’s discount and I’ll get right into the swatches.

First up is “Picking Up The Pieces” by Nevermind Polish. This polish is described as a “hot pink with a touch of shimmer and blue/purple/red chameleon flakies.” Two coats made for super easy complete coverage, those flakes will dry down a bit textured but your favorite topcoat will help smooth them out!

Next up is “Act F.A.S.T.” by O My Jewels. This polish is described as a “creamy smooth red with a dash of matte white multi size flakies to shake things up.” I did have some pretty major settling of the matte white glitters here but a quick shake or even holding it upside down helped spread those glitters right out! I do recommend nice thin coats with this polish, it has amazing opacity and I love how the white glitters look like white blood cells in that super fiery red base!

Next up is “Small Steps Big Rewards” by Alter Ego Body Care Products. This polish is described as a “olive green with micro bronze flakies.” This polish struck me as a deep bronzey molten gold and I love the effect of the scattered flakies! One coat made for awesome coverage but the second coat does deepen up the finish and mellows out the brushstrokes a bit.

Next up is “Fighting Back’ by Pretty Beautiful Unlimited which is described as a “peacock turquoise green with silver holo micro glitters, teal to blue iridescent shifting glitter, blue micro shreds and flakies and blue to aqua to violet UCC flakies.” This polish went on super smooth and had perfect coverage in 2 easy coats!

Next up is “Know The Signs” by Sassy Pants Polish which is described as a “royal/navy blue scattered holographic polish with various sized black holographic and opal iridescent glitters and microglitters as well as gold shimmers.” This polish has a jelly base that built up nicely in 2 thicker coats for me but would also be beautiful at 3 thinner coats as well!

_

Lastly today I have “Survivor” by PoSHlish which is described as a “shimmery lilac pearl with sea-foam green undertone.” This polish starts out very sheer but built up perfectly for me in 3 thicker coats, I cannot get enough of this finish under direct natural lighting.
