Hey guys! Today I have a swatch and review of the Stranger Things collection releasing on May 5th from Dollish Polish! She will also have these available at Polish Con today so if you are attending you will be able to snag these early! This is a collection of 8 gorgeous polish inspired by the Netflix original series in a ton of finishes to please almost every pallet. These were sent to me for review and I’ll jump right to the swatches.

First up is “Eleven” which is described as a “dusty vintage rose pink with duochrome shimmer flashing from magenta to purple.” This polish has a delicate formula that goes on as a blush of color and builds up almost opaque in 3 coats for a clean french tip type look.

Next up is “Mouth Breather” which is described as a ” red based multichrome, flashing from magenta to orange and gold with a violet/pink shimmer.” This polish has fairly shifty base with the main color being a very sweet orange red. Over black or a darker color you will get more of the violet/pink shimmer, this was right at the edge of being opaque for me in 3 coats.

_

Next up is my top pick of the collection, “Demogorgon.” Demogorgon is described as a ” burgundy based multichrome flashing from burgundy to olive, blue and gold.” This polish is incredibly shifty on the nail with the main color shifts being the olive and burgundy tones. At 3 coats this polish is perfectly opaque although it could be used over a darker color for faster opacity.

_

Next up is “Monster On Mirkwood” which is described as a “soft green/grey with multichrome shimmer flashing from gold to olive and green.” This polish built up pretty sheerly for me but was right on the edge of being opaque in 3 coats. I love the gold duochrome shift on this soft sage base!

_

Next up is another fave for me, “The Upside Down” is described as a “duochrome holo shifting from teal to indigo with holo flakes & micro glitters.” This was completely opaque for me in 3 coats with great coverage at 2, the metallic shift plus all that holo makes for magic in natural sunlight.

Next up is another absolute beaut! This is “Friends Don’t Lie” and it is described as a ” navy creme with aqua/green duochrome shimmer loaded with irridescent micro flakes and holo glitters.” The glitters in this polish are those perfect shredded holos that lay so nice and flat and look gorgeous suspended in this navy base!

_

Next up is “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” described as a ” indigo based multichrome flashing from indigo to violet, magenta and gold.” This polish was perfectly opaque in 3 easy coats and has a mostly a blue to purple shift.

_

Lastly today I have “Mornings Are For Coffee & Contemplation” which is described as a polish that is “jam packed micro glitter with the shades nutmeg, copper, espresso, navy, turquoise, beige and accented with color shifting micro flakes and glitters.” This polish will work well as a topper over any of your favorite polishes and is super close to being opaque at 4 coats on it’s own. I do recommend using the sponge method to get quicker opacity if you are looking for a super blingy look!
