Nail Art | Holographic Chrome Nails ft. Madam Glam and Bornprettystore

Hey guys! I know I’m a little late on this trend but today I have some chrome holographic nail art to share. In today’s look I’ll be using the Cuticula On To The Next peel off base coat, Madam Glam’s Black is The One one step gel polish, and’s holo powder found here. This look was completely inspired by Trish of @thepolishedmage and most of these products were sent for review.

Black is the One shown at 2 coats under artificial lighting.

First I laid down a base of On To The Next one to make for easy removal. If you love the long wear of a gel definitely skip this step! Next I did two coats of Black is the One one step gel, curing for 3-60 seconds each time. I am head over heels in love with this gel, it has a perfect formula that is super easy to work with and I love not having to deal with a sticky layer! This black is also the perfect base for powder pigments!

Next I used the holo powder from BPS directly over the black polish, it came with a sponge eyeshadow applicator for easy application. I did bring this product outside to use as it does kick off a ton of fall out. That said, this burnished so easily on the black polish and the finish is crazy beautiful! I sealed it all in with a gel topcoat and washed my hands to help remove all the excess glitter.

Finished look at an angle in direct sunlight.

That wraps up today’s review, have you gotten in on the holo powder craze? Be sure to follow to social media platforms below to stay up to date on all new releases and trends:
