Princess Bride Collection by Moon Shine Mani

Hey guys! Today I have the “Is This A Kissing Book?” collection by Moon Shine Mani, this collection has been out for a hot minute but it is still available and gorgeous to boot! Inspired by The Princess Bride these shades range from fierce linear holographic to soft flakie filled jelly finishes and retail from $8-11. They were sent to me for review and I will jump right in!

MTrueBottle
True Love shown at 2 coats under artificial lighting.

First up is True Love, an “intense, rich raspberry linear holographic with blue undertones.” This polish is basically a 1 coater! I did need two quick coats today do to some low spots from application, the finish is intense and the color is beyond vibrant.

The Fire Swamp shown at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

This is The Fire Swamp, a “red to gold to green multichrome shimmer running through the rusty, fire-orange jelly base with red/copper/gold/green multichrome flakies, gold holo flakies and red to gold to green shifting glitters.” This polish is swimming with flakies in a deep burnt orange base! The jelly formula makes for a ton of depth on the nail and built to full coverage in 3 coats.

Hello, My Name is Inigo Montoya shown at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

This is Hello, My Name is Inigo Montoya and it is best described as a “dazzling gold holo glitter with copper and gold holo dust sparkle brightly from within this soft pecan cream base with blush undertones and a flash of gold shimmer.” This soft shade is such a glittering nude and built up gorgeously in 2-3 coats.

MPeanutBottle
Anybody Want a Peanut? shown at 2 coats under artificial lighting.

This is Anybody Want A Peanut? and it is a “soft peanut butter brown cream, simple as that.” This shade is a soft light brown with plenty of mustard yellow tones to keep it cheery! The first coat went on a little sheer but it built up beautifully in 2-3 coats.

A Battle of Wits shown at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

Next up is A Battle of Wits, a “pewter linear holographic packed with a multichrome rainbow by pairing flakies that first shift from red/copper/gold/green and then another shifting from green/cyan/sapphire.” If you are a fan of holo glitter, this polish is loaded with it! If you are a fan of multi chrome flakies, this is perfect for you! If you are a fan of both, this polish is everrrrything! I had full coverage in 3 easy coats.

MPrincessBottle
Princess Buttercup shown at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

Next up is Princess Buttercup, a “dusty and demure powder blue base, cradling cyan to blue to violet shifting mermaid flakies and bright sparks of iridescent teal to blue micro glitters.” This soft polish is inspired by Buttercup’s pastel gown and it does look super royal on the nail! It is on the sheerer side and built up nicely in 3 coats with tons of soft iridescent flakies peeking through!

As You Wish shown at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

This next shade is As You Wish and it is described as a “gentle sapphire blue jelly bomb cushioning a custom glitter mix comprised of multichrome flakies shifting from green/cyan/sapphire, sparkling silver holo flakies, and purple, deep raspberry, and bronze glitters.” I am living for the deeper royal blue glitters in this mix! I had full opacity in 3 coats and I do recommend going in with a coat of your favorite glossy top coat.

Inconceivable shown at 3 coats under artificial lighting.

Lastly today I have Inconceivable, a “vibrant, spicy and mysterious multichrome shifting from bright fuchsia to deep teal and green, speckled with red/copper/gold/green multichrome flakies.” This lovely thing is my number one top pick of the collection and I definitely recommend checking out the live swatch to see the full shift spectrum! I had full coverage in 3 easy coats.
