Hey guys! I am jammed to share this with you today! This is the Triwizard Tournament inspired Fandom Flakies box for April 2018, releasing for preorder beginning April 13 through the 20th for $30 plus shipping. There is also an optional bookmark that you may add to your order for an additional $10! This box will be available exclusively at http://www.beeskneeslacquer.com and it was sent to me for review.
First up is The Maze by Bee’s Knees Lacquer! This polish is described as a “a prugly moss green with blue aurora shimmer, scattered holo, and iridescent flakes that shift every shade of the rainbow. Blue for the cup itself, red for the sparks from their wands, gold and orange for the Sphinx and Blast-ended Skrewts.” Um, yes please! This polish does have a bit of a thicker formula that does an amazing job at keep all of those flakies beautifully suspended! I had full coverage in 2 easy coats although if you prefer to go in thin you may need 3.
Next up is Dragons by Night Owl Lacquer! This polish is described as a “charcoal base with red to gold shifting Aurora shimmer, gunmetal flakies, copper/red/gold/green crystal chameleon flakes and gold/green ultra chrome chameleon flakes.” This polish has a sweet jelly type formula that really shows of the maximum amount of flakies and I am loving how they shift on this grey base! I did 3 coats for today’s swatches.
Last up today is The Lake by this month’s guest maker, Nvr Enuff Polish! This polish is described as a “stunning sea blue base with a magical golden/blue chrome shift, turquoise micro flake, a splash of aurora pigment and linear holo! Inspired by Harry and his dive amongst the merpeople to save his friends from the second task in the Tri-Wizard tournament!” This is such a perfect representation of the lake and looks just like shining summer water on the nails! The flakes in this polish are on the smaller side and it went on perfectly in 2 coats with no staining!
That wraps up today’s swatches, be sure to check out the makers and other super talented bloggers showcasing these for an even better look:
